Job summary

BNP Paribas in Portugal is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Shared Reporting Space (SRS) Capital project. You will work in an agile, multidisciplinary team across France and Portugal, focusing on risk data processing, reporting automation, and Basel4-related topics within Finance & Risk Solutions.

You will interact with IT and business stakeholders, shape requirements into use cases for developers, and help drive change management and continuous improvement in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and Computer Science or another relevant field.
• Relevant Professional Experience in Finance, Credit Risk and/or IT.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Pack, namely, Excel.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and MDX languages.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Understand business processes and issues.
• Be a proposal force to design ambitious or innovative solutions to enable advanced automation of reporting processes.
• Translate proposals into Use cases for development teams.
• Contribute to validation of the product with end users, ensuring adherence at each stage.
• Contribute to transition and change management.
• Develop transversal vision of products/processes and anticipate future needs.
• Be an actor in an agile organization by contributing to rituals, backlog definition and prioritization, and continuous team improvement.
