Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy complex backend systems, focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability
• Set and uphold engineering best practices, coding standards, and architecture guidelines
• Build and maintain core platform components such as APIs, services, and infrastructure that support product-wide functionalities
• Lead technical discussions and influence architectural decisions across the organization
• Mentor and support engineering peers, promoting a collaborative and growth-oriented environment
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and encourage engineering excellence
• Research and incorporate emerging technologies to continuously evolve the platform
  
  
  

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in backend system architecture and performance optimization
• Demonstrated leadership in end-to-end project delivery from design to deployment
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, PostgreSQL (or similar databases), RabbitMQ (or other message queues), and AWS (or comparable cloud platforms)
• Expertise in API design, distributed systems, and testing (unit and integration)
• Excellent communication, analytical, and teamwork skills in a remote, fast-paced environment
• A strong appetite for learning and keeping up with technological advancements
