Riskified’s dynamic payment fraud group seeks a Senior Backend Developer to build scalable fintech products in an Agile setting. You’ll own features from planning with Product and Design through architecture, coding, code reviews, CI/CD deployment, and post-deployment monitoring.

You’ll work with Scala/Java, AWS, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes and Spark, contribute to real-time and batch systems, mentor teammates, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to impact Riskified’s core offerings.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of server-side coding experience.
• Ability to self-direct learning and own features end-to-end.
• Commitment to clean, SOLID, resilient code.
• Proficiency in Scala/Java with SQL/noSQL databases.
• Experience with real-time and batch systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI tooling and mentoring peers.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop scalable architectures for ML-enabled systems.
• Work across languages and technologies (Scala, Node.js, Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Perform daily production deployments via CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to end-to-end product development and feature delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement new features.
