Feedzai is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Engineering (Tech) Team. You will work on Feedzai’s Risk Engine, evaluating transactions and scoring risk in real time. You’ll participate in end-to-end development, code reviews, and design of cloud-native SaaS components.

The role emphasizes ownership, automation, observability, and operating in a DevOps culture. Ideal candidates have 3+ years with Java backend, CS degree, and experience with high-performance servers and modern distributed

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience building Java backend software.
• Strong coding skills and CS fundamentals.
• Experience in high-performance, concurrent server-side code.
• Experience designing and building modern web applications.
• Experience with distributed systems platforms/patterns (Spark, RabbitMQ, Kafka or Cassandra).
• OSS contributions desired.
• Able to work autonomously and bring ideas to the team.

Responsabilidades

• Be hands-on, executing the full software development life cycle.
• Write reusable and testable code and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to best practices and guidelines for software development.
• Contribute to the cloud-native SaaS strategy of Feedzai.
• Engage in recruiting activities to attract top talent.
• Provide support and improvements to production clients.
• Work in agile teams to develop products and frameworks.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for 24/7 reliability with compensation.
