emagine is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to refine architecture during onboarding and own backend module implementation after approvals. You will shape backend decisions, design robust PostgreSQL schemas, and build REST APIs per OpenAPI 3.0.

The role requires strong Java/Quarkus skills, experience with microservices, OAuth2/OIDC, Docker and Kubernetes, and a emphasis on security (OWASP Top 10). English proficiency and native Portuguese or C2 required.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Backend Engineer focusing on Java/Quarkus.
• Experience with modular architectures or microservices.
• Relational database expertise with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with REST API design and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Proficient in containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes.
• Experience with OAuth2/OIDC frameworks.
• Security practices aligned with OWASP Top 10.
• Strong English for documentation and collaboration.
• Native Portuguese speaker or C2 proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with internal architects to finalize architecture documents.
• Prepare technical bases for architecture decisions.
• Implement backend modules in Java/Quarkus after approval.
• Design schemas and ensure safe transactions in PostgreSQL.
• Document and implement REST APIs per OpenAPI 3.0.
• Integrate with external systems (Swissdec, ZEFIX, AGOV/SwissID).
• Implement security measures including audit logging and encryption.
• Engage in Docker/Kubernetes-based deployment and containerization.
• Conduct code reviews and target high test coverage (≥80%).
