emagine is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer in Portugal to lead architecture decisions during onboarding and implement backend modules after approval. You will collaborate with internal architects, prepare technical bases for decisions, and drive robust backend development using Java and Quarkus.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Backend Engineer focusing on Java/Quarkus.
• Experience with modular architectures or microservices.
• Strong PostgreSQL expertise.
• Experience with RabbitMQ.
• Experience with REST API design and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Docker and Kubernetes proficiency.
• OAuth2/OIDC frameworks experience.
• Security practices: OWASP Top 10.
• Proficient English for documentation and collaboration.
• Portuguese native or C2 proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with internal architects on finalizing architecture documents.
• Prepare technical bases for decision-making on architecture issues.
• Implement backend modules post-architecture approval using Java/Quarkus.
• Design database schemas and ensure transaction safety in PostgreSQL.
• Document and implement REST APIs as per OpenAPI 3.0 standards.
• Integrate with external systems including Swissdec, ZEFIX, and AGOV/SwissID.
• Implement security measures, including audit logging and data encryption.
• Engage in containerization and deployment with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure a minimum of 80% test coverage.
