The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of experience in software engineering, advanced knowledge of Python and Django, and proven leadership in architecture and technical mentoring. Overview

Design and evolve the core backend of our Charging Management Platform

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the core backend of our Charging Management Platform
• Lead end-to-end technical initiatives, from system architecture to rollout
• Set engineering standards, review critical decisions, and mentor fellow developers
• Work with product, engineering leads, and functional teams
• Ensure our services are secure, robust, and capable of scaling with demand
• We follow Agile principles (Scrum), value thoughtful execution, and prioritize clean, maintainable solutions over short-term workarounds.

What are we looking for?

• At least 8 years of software engineering experience, primarily in backend development.
• Advanced knowledge of Python and Django, with strong API and platform experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in architecture and technical mentoring.
• Portugal based (mandatory).

Nice to have

• Experience with the following tools: AWS, Terraform, Ansible and/or Grafana.
• Understanding of EV and mobility standards (e.g., OCPI, OCPP).
