Euronext is seeking a Senior Backend Developer in Porto to join the Settlement team. You will build and maintain scalable Java-based backend services, collaborate with cross-border teams and drive modernization efforts as part of Convergence project. The role focuses on Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, and event-driven architectures.

You’ll work on RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and observability, contributing to a high-impact financial infrastructure in a dynamic European environment.

Qualificações

• Strong foundation in software engineering principles (Clean Code, SOLID, basic Domain-Driven Design).
• Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs using Java/Kotlin.
• Familiarity with event-driven systems; experience with Kafka is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in GIT and test-driven development.
• Knowledge of or interest in observability practices (e.g. logs, metrics, tracing).
