Job summary

Datacareers is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Platform team. This fully remote role is based in Portugal, and focuses on designing, building, automating, securing and operating AWS-based cloud infrastructure.

You will drive multi-region AWS platform solutions, develop IaC with Terraform, and advance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins. Strong Kubernetes, scripting and security practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience designing and operating AWS-based cloud infrastructure.
• Strong Terraform / IaC and automation background.
• Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD tooling and monitoring.
• Proven ability to document architecture and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Lead and deliver multi-region AWS platform solutions.
• Review and document existing environments, propose improvements.
• Prioritize work from a large project pipeline.
• Develop and maintain IaC with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate provisioning and deployment of applications and infra.
• Support containerised workloads using Kubernetes and related tools.
• Enhance observability, monitoring, and incident response.
• Collaborate with architects, security and engineering teams.
