Amgen Inc. is seeking a Senior Associate AWS Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, operate, and continuously improve a large-scale enterprise AWS network.

You will work on VPCs, Transit Gateway, DNS, Private Link, and cross-account networking to support secure, resilient cloud services. The role requires hands-on AWS networking expertise in enterprise settings, collaboration across platforms, and the ability to troubleshoot complex end-to-end connectivity across AWS and on-premises

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related technical discipline and 3+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and operating AWS networking infrastructure in enterprise environments.
• Experience with AWS VPC, Transit Gateway, Route tables, Direct Connect, Route 53, Private Link, VPC endpoints, security groups and NACLs; TCP/IP, subnetting, CIDR, routing, DNS; scripting/automation.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, operate, and improve AWS network architectures across multi-account, multi-region environments.
• Develop and maintain cloud network standards, patterns, and security-aligned designs.
• Provide incident troubleshooting, architecture reviews, and cross-team guidance for cloud networking.
• Support hybrid connectivity between AWS and on-premises environments.
