Dellent is seeking a Senior Automation Developer (API Firewall) in Porto with hybrid work. You will build robust APIs and automation backends using Python and Django, integrate Celery/Redis for long-running tasks, and implement CI/CD and IaC practices.

Key technologies include Fortigate (FortiOS), FortiManager API, and NSX-T Policy API. Strong networking knowledge and English proficiency are essential for collaboration across teams.

Qualificações

• 9+ years of professional experience required.
• Advanced Python 3 and Django (or REST Framework) for building robust APIs and automation backends.
• Experience with asynchronous task queues (Celery/Redis) for long-running operations.
• CI/CD pipelines and IaC principles (Git, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Deep understanding of Fortigate (FortiOS) and VMware NSX-T architectures.
• Hands-on automation of firewall policies and security groups via FortiManager API and NSX-T Policy API.
• Solid grasp of enterprise routing, switching, zoning, and micro-segmentation.
• Good level of English.

We are looking foraSenior Automation developer (API Firewall)to work in this project inPorto (Hybrid).

Must have:

• More than 9 years of professional experience;
• Advanced Python 3 and Django framework (or REST Framework) for building robust, scalable APIs and automation backends;
• Experience with asynchronous task queues (e.g., Celery / Redis) for handling long-running network operations;
• CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitLab CI/GitHub Actions) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles;
• Deep understanding of Fortigate (FortiOS) and VMware NSX-T architectures;
• Hands-on experience automating firewall policies, address objects, and security groups via FortiManager API (JSON-RPC/REST) and NSX-T Policy API;
• Solid grasp of enterprise routing, switching, zoning, and micro-segmentation concepts;
• Good level of English Language.
