Looking to take full ownership of the design, governance, security, and migration strategy of Jira Cloud across the technology clusters of a premier European banking group?
At act digital, we are currently recruiting a Senior Atlassian Architect (Jira Expert) to structure, secure, and industrialize enterprise Jira Cloud instances in a hybrid model in Lisbon!
What You Will Do
- Architecture & Governance: Define the functional and technical framework for the Jira Cloud instance, establishing governance rules, administration standards, and long-term maintainability.
- Standardization & Templates: Design reusable configuration models: issue types, complex workflows, screens, custom fields, roles, permission schemes, and notifications to avoid configuration drift and sprawling complexity.
- Centralization & Data Segregation: Guide the consolidation of Jira spaces and projects across technological streams while strictly guaranteeing data isolation and access boundaries.
- Migration Strategy: Architect and execute data migration plans between Jira instances or from legacy third-party tooling directly into Jira Cloud.
- Security & Access Control: Structure advanced permission schemes, issue visibility levels, account governance, and best practices under Atlassian Cloud standards.
- Advisory & Enablement: Act as the trusted Atlassian advisor, challenging user requests to preserve platform performance, leading Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and conducting workshops to drive tool adoption.
What We Are Looking For
- Seniority: Proven track record operating as a Senior Atlassian Architect / Lead Jira Specialist in large enterprise environments.
- Atlassian Expertise: Deep knowledge of Jira Cloud tooling, ecosystem integrations, and architecture patterns.
- Security & Governance: Total mastery of Jira permission schemes, security levels, and access management.
- Data Migration: Hands-on experience defining and executing large-scale data migrations between Jira instances or from external systems.
- Functional & Project Skills: Experience driving PoCs, writing technical/functional documentation, and running adoption workshops.
- Languages: English: Minimum B2 (fluent oral and written communication with technical clusters). French: Minimum B1 (oral and written comprehension for project interactions).
- Location: Lisbon 2x to 3x days at the office.
