Klöckner Pentaplast in Porto, Portugal is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant to join the Shared Service Centre. You will manage AR activities, reconcile banks, handle factoring, and support month-end close.

The role requires a degree in Accounting or Finance, IFRS knowledge, English fluency, and experience with ERP systems and MS Office. You will collaborate with a global team and assist audits and process improvements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
• Knowledge of IFRS and European GAAP (Portugal/UK/US) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure timely daily bank postings and bank reconciliation.
• Handling of Factoring process, posting of factoring statements & reconciliation.
• Processing of deductions and, if applicable, generating of credit notes.
• Enter and forward invoice deductions; enter and post manual invoices.
• Process AR month end closing activities; perform AR reporting.
• Support in the preparation of financial statements; maintenance of accounts.
• Lead and facilitate project work; provide audit support and controls.
