Job summary

OutSystems is seeking a seasoned security engineer to join our Global Security chapter in Portugal. You will review infrastructure, implement remediation programs, and develop automated safeguards across the SDLC to strengthen our enterprise platform.

You will collaborate with security operations, incident response, and compliance teams, applying cloud-native best practices, IAM, and container security to reduce risk while enabling fast, reliable software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, coordination, and collaboration skills in worldwide remote settings across the business to drive respective outcomes for the team.
• 4-6+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Reviewing infrastructure and tooling configurations to ensure that security posture is established, maintained, and continued throughout the Software Development LifeCycle.
• Ability to identify internal infrastructure that is susceptible to known vulnerabilities along with being able to create solutions and lead programs to remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
• Developing systems that automatically respond and remediate known security vulnerabilities or insecure configurations.
• Developing and creating systems that integrate into Security Operation Center and Individual and Account Management Tools.
• Reviewing, auditing, and helping assist in writing compliance policies, along with remediating identified compliance gaps.
