Job summary

WYgroup Inc. in Lisbon, Portugal is hiring a skilled Android developer to join our Moey project. You will design and implement features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, focusing on clean architecture and scalable state management.

You will work with REST APIs via Retrofit/OkHttp, DI with Hilt or Dagger, and data persistence with Room/DataStore. You will participate in code reviews, testing, and performance optimization, contributing to an agile, collaborative team of five Android developers.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin with coroutines and flows.
• Experience building UIs with Jetpack Compose.
• Solid MVVM and Clean Architecture experience.
• RESTful API integration using Retrofit/OkHttp.
• Dependency injection with Hilt or Dagger.
• Advanced knowledge of Gradle and build variants.
• Experience with Room, DataStore or SharedPreferences.
• Unit and UI testing with JUnit and Espresso.
• Version control with Git and code review practices.
• Familiarity with Android Studio tooling and profiling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Moey Android app.
