HumanIT Digital Consulting is seeking a Senior Android Developer to join the team behind a prestigious British online fashion retailer's mobile application. You will work on a large-scale Android app used by millions of users, building new features and improving the user experience.

You will collaborate closely with Android, iOS, QA, Product, and Design teams, taking ownership from development through to production.

Qualificações

• Strong Kotlin experience in Android development.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Strong knowledge of Coroutines or RxJava.
• Experience with MVVM or similar architecture patterns.
• Strong unit and UI testing experience.
• Experience working on medium/large-scale mobile applications.

The project

We're looking for a Senior Android Developer to join the team behind a prestigious British online fashion retailer's mobile application, with over 10 million downloads and recognised internationally for its technology and user experience.

You'll work on a large-scale Android application used by millions of users, building new features and improving the existing experience. You'll collaborate closely with Android, iOS, QA, Product, and Design teams, working directly with the client and taking ownership from development through to production.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys working with modern Android technologies, solving complex mobile challenges, and maintaining a high standard of quality across both code and user experience.

Stack: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, RxJava, MVVM, Android Architecture Components, Room

Location: Full Remote – Portugal

Compensation: €2,300 – €3,050/month net, depending on experience and seniority level.

What you need

• Strong Kotlin experience in Android development
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose
• Strong knowledge of Coroutines or RxJava
• Experience with MVVM or similar architecture patterns
• Strong unit and UI testing experience
• Experience working on medium/large-scale mobile applications
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of production code
• Strong focus on code quality and user experience
• Experience collaborating with Product, Design, QA, and clients
• English B2+ and Portuguese

Nice to have: Kotlin Multiplatform, Compose Multiplatform, TDD, CI/CD, production monitoring, mentoring, and experience with ViewModel, LiveData, Room, and Navigation.
