WE ARE META focuses on matching consultants (Rhinos) with clients across national and international partners in the tech sector. You’ll join a team that places consultants in roles with flexible working policies (remote, hybrid, on-site) while receiving career coaching and tailored support.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as an Android developer, strong Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, MVVM experience, and Fluent English.

Qualificações

• At least 5 years of professional experience as an Android developer.
• Proficient in Kotlin and modern Android tooling.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines or RxJava, and MVVM architecture.
• Fluent in English (B2 level) and able to work remotely from Portugal.

Responsabilidades

• Match consultants with client needs across national and international partners.
• Coordinate placements with diverse tech sector clients and ensure policy compatibility (remote, hybrid, on-site).
• Provide personalized support and coaching to consultants to meet professional goals.

Role description and responsibilitiesAt WE ARE META, we focus on finding the perfect match between our consultants ("Rhinos") and our clients. As a consultant, you will be placed with national and international partners across diverse sectors of the tech industry. Our recruiters work to find the best position for you in terms of working policy (remote, hybrid, on-site) and company culture. You will also receive personalized support from a career coach to ensure all your professional needs are met.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience working as an Android developer
• Professional experience with Kotlin
• Professional experience with Jetpack Compose
• Professional experience working with Coroutines or RxJava
• Professional experience with Software Architecture, such as MVVM
• Experience with Unit testing and UI tests
• Fluency in English is mandatory (B2 level)
• Availability for remote work based in Portugal; EU-based candidates are welcome as long as they are willing to relocate to Portugal

Nice to have

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform

Remote details

Remote work available but candidate must be based in Portugal. EU-based candidates are welcome if willing to relocate to Portugal.
