Job summary

Bosch Portugal, through Bosch Service Solutions in Lisbon, is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to design and operate automated ETL pipelines, enabling digital procurement and AI initiatives. You will translate requirements into data models and ensure data quality across teams.

You will work in an international environment, collaborate with data producers and consumers, and apply DevOps and Agile practices to deliver scalable data solutions with a focus on GenAI readiness.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in data modeling, data engineering, ETL processes and data warehouses/lakehouses.
• Proficiency in SQL; Python is a plus.
• Experience with dbt, Databricks and Power BI/Tableau.
• DevOps principles for data pipelines (CI/CD, data testing, KPI tracking).
• Agile software development with strong stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of GenAI advancements and applying them to real-world challenges.
• Excellent communication and analytical mindset.

Qualifications

What Distinguishes You:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in data modeling, data engineering, ETL processes and data warehouses/lakehouses, with proficiency in SQL; Python is a plus.
• Experience with tools along the data stack such as dbt, Databricks and Power BI/Tableau.
• Proven expertise in DevOps principles, focusing on the stability, reliability and monitoring of automated data pipelines (data testing, CI/CD, KPI definition and tracking, …).
• Practical knowledge of agile software development, alongside strong project and stakeholder management skills.
• You're up to date with the lates advancements in (agentic) GenAI and how to apply them to real world challenges.
• Ability to design and communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent communication skills in English, resilience, and a strong analytical and conceptual mindset
