• Experience designing heuristics, metaheuristics, greedy algorithms, dynamic programming, and local search.

We are looking for a Senior Algorithm / Optimization Engineer, eager to embark on an exciting new opportunity in robotics and autonomous fleet management!

We’re looking for a Senior Algorithm / Optimization Engineer to design and implement production-grade algorithms for AMR fleet scheduling, routing, traffic optimization, and transport order planning.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in algorithm development, mathematical optimization, Operations Research, or a similar field;
• Strong knowledge of combinatorial optimization, scheduling, routing, graph algorithms, resource allocation, and constraint modelling;
• Experience designing heuristics, metaheuristics, greedy algorithms, dynamic programming, and local search approaches;
• Ability to balance solution quality, runtime performance, robustness, and operational feasibility;
• Experience with multi-objective optimization involving throughput, travel distance, congestion, battery status, and resource utilization;
• Knowledge of fleet optimization, multi-robot scheduling, route planning, traffic management, and charging constraints;
• Ability to translate complex logistics and operational scenarios into executable optimization models;
• Strong programming skills in Rust and Python;
• Experience developing production-ready backend services, APIs, modular software, and automated tests;
• Knowledge of data structures, concurrency, performance profiling, Git, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes;
• Experience validating algorithms through simulation, back-testing, benchmarking, operational replay, and KPI analysis;
• Professional proficiency in English.

Experience with the following will be valued:

• OR-Tools, MILP solvers, CP-SAT, Linear Programming, or Constraint Programming;
• ROS, VDA 5050, AMRs, intralogistics, digital twins, or Gazebo;
• Kafka, MQTT, NATS, or Redis;
• Machine Learning, statistical modelling, time-series forecasting, or Reinforcement Learning;
• Travel-time, congestion, throughput, or failure-risk prediction.

This is a software engineering position focused on turning mathematical models into robust production systems, rather than a Data Science or purely research-oriented role.
