The Opportunity
As part of the AI, Technology & Digital Transformation team within our Tax practice, you’ll play a key role in accelerating the digital transformation of our tax and finance services. Based in Portugal and integrated in our Europe West network, you will be part of a cross‑functional team focused on cutting‑edge software engineering, automation, cloud, and AI solutions. This role combines technical depth with strategic thinking, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, innovation, and delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable solutions using Python, Streamlit, Next.js, Astro, Java, and/or Maven; build and maintain APIs, microservices, and integrations across Azure, AWS, Cloudflare, and/or Vercel.
- Develop low‑code applications and automation workflows using the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Implement AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning solutions with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn, and OpenAI technologies.
- Utilize ServiceNow and Process Mining tools to analyze, optimize, and visualize business processes.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into high‑quality technical designs with measurable outcomes.
- Lead Project Management Office (PMO) activities, including project planning, governance, risk management, milestone tracking, and KPI reporting.
- Support DevOps practices by managing CI/CD pipelines, version control, and environments using tools such as GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, enforce best practices, and drive standardization across all development initiatives.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have
- A degree in STEM, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
- Experience in software engineering, AI development, or cloud‑based solutions.
- Solid experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, and web frameworks.
- Hands‑on knowledge of Azure, AWS, Cloudflare Workers, or Vercel deployment environments.
- Experience with AI/ML project delivery (training, evaluation, deployment).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, Process Mining, or workflow automation tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Fluency in English; Portuguese or another European language is a plus.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
- Experience in Consulting, Financial Services, or Big 4 environments.
- Certifications in AI, Azure, or Agile methodologies (Scrum Master, Product Owner, PMO Foundations).
- Understanding of data governance, observability, and security in enterprise environments.
- Experience with Agile/DevOps delivery and modern software lifecycle management.
