Chain IQ is a global AI-driven procurement service partner seeking a senior backend engineer to design and build the orchestration layer for intelligent procurement applications. The role focuses on connecting AI agents, business logic, enterprise systems, and APIs to orchestrate long-running workflows.

You will collaborate across Product Engineering, Machine Learning, Platform Engineering, Data Engineering, and Product Management to deliver end-to-end platform capabilities and scalable,

Qualificações

• Experience in building backend services for AI-enabled platforms.
• Strong grasp of distributed systems, APIs, async processing, and event-driven architectures.
• Ability to design scalable, cloud-native microservices and secure services.
• Proven track record with REST APIs, messaging, and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop backend services supporting intelligent procurement applications and autonomous workflows.
• Build agent orchestration services coordinating AI agents, business logic, and APIs.
• Develop scalable APIs and service interfaces used by web apps, automation workflows, and AI agents.
• Design workflow execution patterns for long-running processes, retries, state management, approvals, and recovery.
• Integrate enterprise platforms including procurement systems, ERP and external data sources.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and policy enforcement across services.
• Ensure observability through logging, metrics, tracing, and telemetry.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, ML, Platform Engineering, Data Engineering, and Product Management.
• Drive productivity via automation, reusable components, and ASDLC contributions.
