Marsh is seeking a senior actuary to join the GSD team in Lisbon. The role focuses on reviewing and validating actuarial valuations, particularly for Portuguese pension schemes and insurance-related work.

You will peer review assessments, ensure accuracy, and collaborate with colleagues to uphold technical standards. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in technical life actuarial roles, strong English proficiency, and familiarity with the Portuguese market.

Qualificações

• More than 8 years of experience in technical life actuarial roles.
• Strong actuarial background with experience in actuarial valuation work.
• Previous experience in the Portuguese insurance and pension schemes market.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
• Professional level of English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Review and validate actuarial valuations, with a focus on Portuguese pension schemes and insurance-related work.
• Perform peer reviews of actuarial assessments and technical outputs.
• Ensure the accuracy, quality, and consistency of valuation calculations and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to support delivery and technical review.
• Manage timelines, priorities, and technical workload in line with business needs.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of technical standards and best practice within the team.
