NetJets Europe in Portugal (Lisbon area) seeks an experienced accountant to perform general accounting activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and month/year end closing, in compliance with local and US GAAP.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Business Administration or Economics, 6–8 years of accounting experience, excellent English, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a multinational group. You will assist with audits and statutory accounts.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Economics.
• Minimum 6 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in a multinational and complex group of companies is an advantage.
• Excellent level of English.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Results driven and team player.
• Knowledge of database systems and financial software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, register and control accruals (G&A, revenue, VOC's, MIS FOCs, Salaries, etc.) to provide an accurate image of the company's financial condition.
• Perform and classify accounting transactions (GL, bank, journals) in compliance with laws and NetJets standards.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations between GL and AP/AR/Fixed Assets and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare financial statistics for legal/tax authorities (UK, USA, Portugal, etc.).
• Participate in monthly and yearly end closing reports with accurate data for management indicators.
• Prepare and control accruals to ensure adequate resources for transactions.
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and follow up open items.
• Assist with financial audits and respond to external requests.
