Job summary

PwC Portugal in Porto is seeking an Accountant to join our dynamic team and help clients navigate complex financial challenges. You will prepare and review monthly and annual accounting and tax obligations, and support close processes.

You'll work with advanced Excel, Power BI, and AI tools to analyze financial statements, drive process improvements, and collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders. A Bachelor's or Master's in accounting or related field is required, with at least 3 years'

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in similar roles.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
Good knowledge of Power BI and AI tools and applications.
Solid understanding of SNC and IFRS.
Advanced English language skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly and annual accounting and tax obligations.
Prepare and review monthly and annual accounting close processes.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting documentation.
Perform and/or review other finance-related activities (reconciliations, reporting, etc.).
Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation in financial and accounting operations.
Plan tasks and support, coach, and develop team members.
Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
