Job Description:

This position will help cover at our Belmont location in Baltimore, MD, as well as once a week at our location in Finksburg, MD.

The Role: The Relief Property Manager is responsible for the daily operations of an assigned self-storage facility within the Moove In Self Storage portfolio. You will follow the Property Manager’s direction and manage the property in their absence. All Property Managers represent our company professionally, with a positive attitude, willingness to help tenants and customers, and a desire to learn and do your best every day.

Specific Duties:

  • Interact daily with customers and present storage options.
  • Communicate via email, phone, and in person as per the Operations Manual.
  • Inspect the facility daily; address maintenance and cleanliness issues.
  • Make daily bank deposits and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate computer records and petty cash.
  • Collect rent, deposits, and fees timely.
  • Sell retail merchandise like locks, packing materials, and boxes.
  • Make past due calls to delinquent accounts.
  • Work at other facilities and events as needed.
  • Be familiar with emergency procedures.
  • Participate in training programs or seminars as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • 1-3 years customer service or sales experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Publisher, and Word.
  • Property Management experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to inspect the property in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to sit for long periods.
  • Repetitive motions like stooping, bending, reaching.
  • Travel to other locations for company errands.
