Adnovum Informatique SA is expanding in Portugal and seeking a Security Engineer who will specialize in application services and information security. This role includes designing and integrating digital identity security solutions into customer systems, ensuring robust application and network security along with monitoring tools.

The ideal candidate will have a BSc or MSc in Computer Science, knowledge of network protocols, and be comfortable with various scripting languages. Proficiency in English and Portuguese is essential for all interactions.

Overview

We are expanding our interdisciplinary team in Zurich and Portugal and looking for a 100% Security Engineer focused on application services and information security.

Responsibilities

• Design, configuration and integration of digital identity security solutions into our customers’ system environments as part of project teams
• Include security processes as well as application and network security solutions
• Implement, generate, customize, test and approve change requests and releases
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support of customers with operational tasks and problems in productive environments
• Operate, control, and monitor security solutions, both in the cloud and on-site at the customer's premises
• Build, integrate, and expand necessary tools for proactive monitoring, CI/CD, early detection of problems or fraud detection, and rapid response to disruptions

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related field
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix (shell, tools) and network protocols (TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP/S) and technologies such as containers and cloud platforms
• Interest in security processes, master data management and the design of secure interfaces
• Experience deploying, configuring and optimizing software solutions and tools for efficient operations such as monitoring, CI/CD etc. with a DevOps mindset
• Enjoy working with scripting and programming languages such as MSSQL, PowerShell, Angular, Java, VB.NET and JavaScript (open to learning other technologies)
• Very good command of English and Portuguese
