Bosch is seeking an Information Security & Data Protection Expert to join the Governance team for Corporate & Service Areas. You will advise on security and data protection, support governance structures, assess risks and controls, and track remediation while ensuring compliant, secure business operations.

The role focuses on governance, risk, audits, and reporting across the Bosch Group, requiring strong English communication and the ability to work across regions.

Qualifications

• Education: University degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Law, Risk Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Professional Experience: in Information Security, Data Protection, IT Governance, Enterprise Architecture, Application Management, Digital Transformation, Risk Management, Compliance, or related field, ideally international.
• Information Security, Data Protection & Technology Expertise: Knowledge of Information Security and Data Protection principles; translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Governance, Risk & Compliance: Experience identifying, assessing, mitigating risks; support audits, assessments, governance frameworks.
• Stakeholder Management & Communication: Strong consulting and communication skills; ability to explain topics clearly across boundaries.
• Collaboration & Influence: Ability to work across functions, regions, cultures; build trusted relationships.
• Personality: Structured, analytical, ownership mindset; customer oriented.
• Language Skills: Business fluent in English; German an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to business departments on Information Security and Data Protection matters.
• Support development of governance setup and continuous improvement of governance structures.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide risk-based recommendations for management decisions.
• Perform audits and monitoring activities; accompany internal and external audits; track remediation.
• Prepare risk and control dashboards and governance management information.
• Support policy & control framework development and rollout globally.
