iCapital is seeking a Security Assurance Specialist - Associate in Lisbon. The role supports clients by delivering accurate DDQ responses and artifact evidence, coordinating with client-facing teams and internal business units.

You will review thousands of questions, ensure consistency across replies, and collaborate with risk, IT and vendor teams. The position offers hybrid work: four days in office and one day remote, with a strong benefits package.

Qualificações

• Five years experience in a technology role, preferably information security.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience using GRC tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud security risks and controls.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Detail oriented to ensure accurate client responses.

Security Assurance Specialist - Associate

The Governance and Risk Specialist at iCapital works on a small team that receives due diligence questionnaires (DDQ) from clients on information security and other topics. The team provides answers and artifacts to support the answers for those DDQs. Throughout the year 30,000+ questions are answered with many similar, but asked slightly differently. Attention to detail is needed so that answers in the same DDQ are not contradictory. Many answers will require obtaining a deep knowledge of iCapital business units and the technologies that they use.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients, client-facing teams, and DDQ portals to receive DDQs
• Find the answers that best match DDQ questions
• Work with business units and technology teams to find artifact evidence that support the answers
• Escalate outstanding issues to management
• From time to time assist the third party risk team with their vendor DDQ evaluations as client assurance and vendor risk are related programs

Qualifications

• Five-years experience in a technology role, preferably information security
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or technology/information security-related field
• Experience using GRC tools is plus
• Excellent knowledge of security risks pertaining to cloud and controls that match those risks
• A quick learner with desire to continually learn
• Excellent communication skills including strong English writing skills
• The successful candidate will be detail oriented to ensure that all answers are correct and nuanced to the client question
