Decskill is seeking a Securities Settlements Officer to join our international operations from Lisbon, Porto or Madrid. You will manage settlement of securities transactions, perform pre- and post-settlement activities, and conduct cash and position reconciliations with internal systems and local custodians.

You will leverage Python, VBA and Power BI to automate processes, reduce manual tasks, and improve efficiency.

Qualificações

• Experience in Securities Settlement, Operations, Custody or Clearing.
• Understanding of securities settlement processes including pre- and post-settlement activities.
• Experience with cash and position reconciliation.
• Knowledge of securities-related transactions and events.
• Experience with referential/reference data.
• Data automation and process optimisation experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and international environment.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and ensure the settlement of securities transactions.
• Perform pre- and post-settlement activities.
• Carry out cash and position reconciliations with internal systems and local custodians.
• Investigate reconciliation breaks and discrepancies.
• Ensure referential data is accurate and up to date.
• Respond to emails, queries and operational requests.
• Support clearing and custody-related activities.
• Maintain and manage legal and transaction-related documentation.
• Develop automated solutions to reduce manual tasks and improve processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth settlement operations.
• Contribute to data analysis and process improvement.
