Samba TV is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test in Porto. This on-site, full-time role sits within the Engineering – Product Engineering team and involves building automated tests for backend and frontend, plus internal tools to improve quality.

You’ll work in an agile, globally distributed environment with opportunities for career growth. You’ll contribute to test automation, code quality, and collaboration with Senior SDETs and developers to design scalable test suites and CI/CD

Qualificações

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical background.
• Strong OOP and modern software architecture understanding.
• Excellent English communication, collaborative in Agile teams.
• Experience with Git workflows and scripting for automation.

Responsabilidades

• Write and execute test cases for backend and frontend components.
• Develop and maintain internal testing tools and utilities.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts and CI/CD integration.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with SDETs and developers.
• Assist in testbed maintenance and ensure code quality through reviews.
