Job summary

iTRTech Group is seeking a Senior SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant to join a hybrid Porto team. The role focuses on supporting SAP ECC 6.0 operations, handling RUN activities, incident resolution, and small enhancements across multi-country SAP operations.

The candidate should have 6+ years of hands-on SAP SD or MM experience, strong SAP ECC 6.0 knowledge, and English B2+ (Portuguese C2) with French desirable. Onsite 2–3 days per week in Matosinhos/Porto area.

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on SAP SD or MM experience.
• Strong SAP SD focus preferred; SAP MM specialists are also considered.
• Practical experience with SAP ECC 6.0.
• Good knowledge of functional configuration and standard business processes.
• Experience in RUN support, incident management and change requests.
• Ability to analyze and resolve functional issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide SAP SD and/or MM functional support in ECC 6.0.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve daily SAP incidents.
• Perform functional configuration and maintenance in area of expertise.
• Support SD or P2P processes (O2C or P2P).
• Handle change requests and small enhancements.

Location: Matosinhos, Porto, Portugal

Only candidates already based in Portugal will be considered

Work Model: Hybrid — 2–3 days onsite per week

Working Hours: 09:00–18:00

Language Requirements: English B2+ and Portuguese C2 required | French desirable

Seniority: Senior (6+ Years)

Rate Between €4500 – 5500 RV or unipessoal / €2700–3500 CTI (gross value) (depending on demonstrated experience)

About The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant, preferably with a strong background in SAP SD, to join an international SAP environment supporting business operations across several European countries.

The project runs on SAP ECC 6.0, with a strong focus on daily operations (RUN), functional support, incident resolution, maintenance, and small enhancements. The objective is to find a reliable, hands‑on consultant who can independently manage operational requests and contribute effectively from the beginning, with minimal onboarding.

Strong expertise in either SAP SD or SAP MM is sufficient, with SAP SD being preferred. Deep expertise in both modules is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for SAP SD and/or MM processes in an ECC 6.0 environment.
• Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to day‑to‑day SAP operations.
• Perform functional configuration and maintenance activities within the candidate's area of expertise.
• Support order‑to‑cash (SD) or procure‑to‑pay (MM) business processes.
• Handle change requests and small functional enhancements.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers when technical changes are required.
• Perform functional testing and support UAT activities.
• Support SAP operations across different European countries.
• Maintain functional documentation and collaborate with distributed teams.

Profile Required

• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience as an SAP SD or SAP MM Functional Consultant.
• Strong expertise in SAP SD is preferred, although SAP MM specialists will also be considered.
• Practical experience with SAP ECC 6.0.
• Good knowledge of functional configuration and standard business processes.
• Experience in application maintenance, RUN support, incident management, and change requests.
• Ability to analyse and resolve functional issues independently.
• Experience delivering small enhancements and functional improvements.
• Understanding of integrations with other SAP modules is valued but not mandatory at an advanced level.
• Previous experience in international or multi‑country SAP environments is an advantage.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal onboarding.
• English B2+ mandatory.

Important: We are not looking for an SAP Solution Architect or a highly specialized technical expert. The priority is solid, practical SAP ECC experience, autonomy in RUN activities, and the ability to resolve functional issues efficiently.

A hands‑on functional consultant with solid SAP ECC experience, autonomy in RUN activities and a practical approach to resolving business issues. The role focuses on operational support, configuration and incremental improvements; solution architecture or highly specialized technical expertise is not required.
