Job summary
Fusion Consulting in Portugal is seeking an experienced SAP Integration Technical Architect to define the integration architecture across a complex SAP and enterprise application landscape for our pharmaceutical client. You will design scalable, secure integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP cloud solutions, legacy systems and non-SAP apps, aligning with enterprise architecture and technical standards.
Fluent English required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years as SAP Integration Architect or similar role.
- Extensive experience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC integrations.
- Experience with SAP PI/PO and SAP BTP integration capabilities.
- Solid understanding of REST, SOAP, OData, IDocs, RFC/BAPI, SFTP, XML, JSON.
- Experience integrating SAP with SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Experience in regulated pharmaceutical environments (GxP).
- Lead large SAP transformation, implementation, or rollout programs.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication; fluent English.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the SAP integration architecture, strategy, and technical standards.
- Design end-to-end integrations across SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, cloud and third-party systems.
- Lead architecture and technical design using CPI, PI/PO, APIs, IDocs, OData, SOAP, REST, RFC/BAPI.
- Define integration patterns; ensure scalable, secure, maintainable solutions.
- Review designs and guide developers, consultants, and vendors.
- Support integrations between SAP and MES, LIMS, WMS, CRM, and cloud apps.
- Collaborate with SAP functional teams, security, infrastructure, and stakeholders.
- Support modernization: migration from PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite / SAP BTP.
- Ensure monitoring, error handling, security, and performance standards.
- Support SAP transformation, migration, and global rollout programs.

We are looking for an experienced SAP Integration Technical Architect to define and govern the integration architecture across a complex SAP and enterprise application landscape for our pharmaceutical client. You will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and reliable integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP cloud solutions, legacy SAP systems, and non-SAP applications, while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and technical standards.
- Define and maintain the SAP integration architecture, strategy, and technical standards.
- Design end-to-end integrations across SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP cloud solutions, and third-party systems.
- Lead architecture and technical design using SAP Integration Suite / CPI, SAP PI/PO, APIs, IDocs, OData, SOAP, REST, and RFC/BAPI.
- Define appropriate integration patterns and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
- Review technical designs and provide guidance to integration developers, consultants, and vendors.
- Support integration between SAP and enterprise platforms such as MES, LIMS, WMS, CRM, and cloud applications.
- Work closely with SAP functional teams, Solution Architects, Security, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluent English is required.
