SAP Inhouse Consultant - Logistics Execution & Warehouse Management (d/m/f)

For our innovative IT Logistics team we are seeking a skilled and experienced Solution Architect with functional and technical engineer capabilities in the areas of Logistics Execution (LE), Warehouse Management (WM/EWM), Transportation Management (TM), and Customs (GTS or equivalent) to join our team in Portugal, Slovakia, Spain or Romania. Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze, design, and implement end-to-end SAP solutions in alignment with global supply chain strategies
  • Lead the technical and functional design of new processes and enhancements, ensuring scalability, performance, as well as security
  • Integrate SAP with 3rd party logistics tools and customs compliance platforms (e.g., AEB, MIC)
  • Support and guide data migration, cutover, testing, and user training during rollouts or transformation projects
  • Provide solution governance, ensuring compliance with best practices and global template; stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in logistics and customs transactions
  • Work closely with internal and external developers, basis & security team, and integration teams to translate functional needs into technical specifications

Profile description:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of SAP ECC experience with a strong focus on Logistics Execution (LE), Warehouse Management (WM), and Transportation Management (TM)
  • Strong technical know-how in SAP ECC customizing, user exits, BAPIs, BAdIs, enhancement frameworks, and SAP integration (IDoc, RFC, CPI, etc.). First experience in SAP S/4HANA is highly preferable
  • Deep functional understanding of customs processes, preferably with technical experience in SAP GTS or integrations with solutions like AEB, MIC
  • Experience in end-to-end implementation and support of large-scale global SAP Supply Chain projects with excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across business and technical teams
  • Experience in Project Management methodologies such as Agile & Waterfall; SAP Activate and/or any Project Management training certificates are a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into system design
  • Proficiency in English
