Devoteam is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our Maia team, contributing to challenging SAP projects within a large enterprise environment.

You will design, develop, maintain and improve SAP solutions, translating business requirements into robust ABAP developments and ensuring high code quality, performance and maintainability. You will work with functional and technical teams to evolve SAP environments and deliver scalable solutions. Office presence: 2 days per week in Maia.

Job Description

We are looking for a SAP ABAP Developer to join our team and contribute to challenging SAP projects within a large enterprise environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and continuously improving SAP solutions, translating business and technical requirements into robust and scalable developments.

You will work closely with functional and technical teams, contributing to the evolution of SAP environments and ensuring high standards of code quality, performance and maintainability.

As a Senior SAP ABAP Developer, you will also be expected to analyse complex technical challenges, troubleshoot existing solutions and contribute to the definition and implementation of effective technical solutions.

Qualifications

Must-have

• 5+ years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP ABAP
• Solid experience in SAP development, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of ABAP development and debugging
• Experience analysing business and technical requirements and translating them into technical solutions
• Experience with SAP enhancements, extensions and custom developments
• Good understanding of software development best practices
• Experience working in enterprise SAP environments
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders

Nice-to-have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Knowledge of ABAP Objects / ABAP OO
• Experience with CDS Views
• Knowledge of RAP / ABAP Cloud
• Experience with OData and APIs
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori / SAPUI5
• Experience with SAP integration technologies such as IDoc, REST or SOAP
