Overview

The company

Our client is a medium-sized vendor for enterprise software solutions, they have a global presence and are looking to grow further.

The Opportunity

The Candidate shall be responsible for winning profitable opportunities for our client's Products and Solutions in Europe. As the Director of Sales for Europe you:

  • Will be responsible for selling our client's Products and Solutions in the region. He/She will be driving all activities of the sales cycle from identification to closure and contracting.
  • Presentation to clients, preparation of proposals and negotiation of commercial terms and conditions.
  • Develop opportunity-specific partner/channel if necessary.
  • Leverage own relationships, own networking and develop new relationships with C-Level executives of customers. Ensure that this healthy relationship is maintained between existing customers and my client at all levels.
  • Keep the customer apprised about our client's technology and solution roadmap.
  • Manage business transformation initiatives with tangible impact on the bottom line.
  • Monitor key account metrics and forecast trends. Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of predominant sales experience, selling into Communication Service Providers in Europe.
  • “Hunter”, having a good connection with major Telecom Operators of the region (preferably at the CXO level).
  • Can demonstrate a history of closing several new customers per year in selling software.
  • The ability to make impactful customer-centric solution presentations to customer organizations.
  • Aware and informed about the latest trends of the industry.
  • Ability to identify, connect and network with key stakeholders at the customer's end on a regular basis.
  • Proficiency in English and French or German.
  • Excellent Presentation Skills.
