Responsabilidades

• Oversee and ensure the accurate execution of Record to Report (RTR) activities, including month-end and year-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Manage, coordinate and monitor the performance of the BPO team, ensuring compliance with agreed SLAs, KPIs and quality standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the GBS organization, the BPO provider and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, applicable accounting standards and internal control frameworks.
• Review and validate accounting entries, reconciliations and financial reports prepared by the BPO team.
• Support internal and external audits, including the preparation and coordination of audit requests.
• Identify, drive and implement continuous improvement, standardization and automation initiatives within the RTR tower.
• Escalate and resolve complex accounting issues in a timely and structured manner.
• Contribute to knowledge transfer, documentation and process governance within the GBS model.

The Regional Record to Report (R2R) Accountant will be responsible for monitoring month-end and year-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting and adherence to internal policies, accounting standards and control requirements. Acting as the main point of contact between the GBS organization, the BPO provider and internal stakeholders. The position also contributes actively to continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and automation, supporting the ongoing maturity and evolution of the RTR tower. The R2R Accountant must be meticulous, with strong interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to visualize and articulate complex business and technical requirements.

Key Contributions

GBS / CoE Set Up

• Actively contribute to the development of an appropriately skilled R2R team by ensuring full training and work shadowing is completed for all team members.
• Work with each country to build positive, constructive relationships and work in partnership with each to drive an effective and smooth transition of R2R processes into the GBS / CoE.
• Support the transition team to ensure the successful migration of all R2R in-scope activities to GBS / CoE.

Technical Competencies

• In-depth understanding of R2R leading practices.
• Understanding of the mechanics within the R2R process stream and how it fits into the end-to-end financial process environment.
• Knowledge of internal controls, segregation of duties and compliance best practices.
• Solid understanding of Record to Report concepts.
