Role Summary (Executive Overview)
We are looking for a hands-on Robotics QA Engineer responsible for validating the quality,reliability, and safety-related behavior of our Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) software platform.
This role combines:
- ROS-based test automation
- Test management and traceability
- Failure analysis and root cause investigation
- Collaboration with Robotics, Backend, Frontend, and DevOps teams
- Structured quality processes and release validation
Important:
This is not a traditional manual QA role and not a web application testing role.
The ideal candidate understands robotic systems, simulations, system interactions, and softwarevalidation in complex environments.

The ideal candidate brings four key dimensions:
- Understands how robotic software behaves in real and simulated environments
- Thinks in robot behavior, state machines, navigation flows, and sensor interactions
- Comfortable validating complete robot workflows, not only isolated functions
- Understands the difference between software defects, configuration issues, and environmentalconditions

This role is best suited to candidates with experience beyond web application testing.
2. Simulation-Based Validation Expert
- Understands the value and limitations of simulation
- Able to create repeatable and automated validation scenarios
- Comfortable working with Gazebo / Ignition environments
- Understands robot-world interactions, sensors, localization, navigation, and obstacle avoidance concepts
Must be capable of:
- Defining realistic test scenarios
- Validating system behavior across software releases
- Translating customer issues into automated simulation tests
3. Structured Quality Engineer
- Passionate about traceability and repeatability
- Can organize large test suites across multiple product releases
Strong understanding of:

- Works closely with developers to reproduce and isolate issues

Position Framework
Reporting Line
Reports to the QA Team Lead or directly to the Director R&D, depending on the final organizational structure.
- Works closely with Robotics Team, QA Team, DevOps Team, Product Management

- Granting customer-oriented usability of Robotics Stack
Work Arrangements
- This position requires regular on-site presence at the Company's office for a minimum of three (3) working days per week.
- The remaining working days may be performed remotely, subject to business requirements
