Job summary

You will validate software with Gazebo simulations, develop ROS-based automated tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable reliable releases in a hybrid Portugal work setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in robotics software testing or QA engineering.
• Knowledge of ROS and Gazebo robotics simulation tools.
• Experience with Python for test automation.
• Familiarity with Jira and structured test management.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Passion for robotics, automation, and delivering reliable software.

Responsibilities

• Validate robotics software through comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes.
• Perform simulation-based testing using Gazebo and robotics environments.
• Develop and maintain ROS-based automated test solutions.
• Manage test plans, traceability, and quality documentation using Jira.
• Investigate failures, perform root-cause analysis, and help drive continuous improvements.
• Collaborate closely with Robotics, Backend, Frontend, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Support structured release validation and quality processes throughout the development lifecycle.
