KWAN in Lisbon is seeking a Robotics QA Engineer to join our hybrid team. You will validate robot behaviour in simulation, build Python-based automation, and drive regression testing across ROS1/ROS2 environments.

You will interact with ROS topics, services, and actions, analyze logs, and collaborate with Robotics, Backend, Frontend, DevOps and QA teams to ensure product quality. 70% hands-on validation and automation, with a focus on scalable tests and release readiness.

Qualificações

• Robotics software experience required.
• Proficient in ROS1 or ROS2.
• Strong Python and test automation skills.
• Familiar with ROS Topics, Services and Actions.
• Understanding of navigation and localisation concepts.
• Experience with test case design and regression testing.
• Ability to investigate technical issues independently.
• Experience with Jira; Xray/Zephyr preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Robotics, Backend, Frontend, DevOps and QA teams.
• Provide quality feedback throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Spend approximately 70% of the role on hands-on validation and automation work.
