BorgWarner is seeking a Risk Manager to lead supplier risk management, leveraging tools like Resilinc and COFACE. You will analyze risk data, develop dashboards, and drive mitigation across the supply chain.

You will partner with procurement, supply chain, and global teams to implement proactive risk strategies, mentor stakeholders, and deliver actionable insights using Power BI and related platforms.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Business.
  • 5+ years of purchasing or program management experience in automotive or GSM with supplier risk exposure.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead and enhance supplier risk management processes, integrating Supplier Pressure Test and Resilinc.
  • Analyze supplier risk data using Power BI, Snowflake and other analytics tools for actionable insights.
  • Develop and refine reporting linking Pressure Test outputs with Resilinc and COFACE insights.
  • Collaborate with procurement, supply chain and global commodity teams on mitigation strategies.
  • Drive follow-up actions with plants, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure timely risk mitigation.
  • Provide training on risk tools, data interpretation, and best practices.

The Risk Manager, in this role, and under direct supervision of the Director, Supply Chain, will manage the key tasks defined below. Role Overview This role is responsible for leading and enhancing supplier risk management processes, with a strong focus on leveraging corporate tools such as Resilinc, COFACE, and the Supplier Pressure Test framework. The position combines strategic process development with hands-on data analysis to drive proactive risk mitigation across the supply chain.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Lead and enhance supplier risk management processes, focusing on the Supplier Pressure Test and Resilinc platform integration.
  • Analyze and interpret supplier risk data, leveraging Power BI, Snowflake, and other analytics tools to provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and refine reporting and dashboards that link Pressure Test outputs with Resilinc and COFACE insights.
  • Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, and global commodity teams to guide mitigation strategies and elevate risks.
  • Drive follow-up actions with plants, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely risk mitigation execution.
  • Support development of a more proactive and predictive risk management approach across the organization.
  • Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on risk tools, data interpretation, and best practices.
Education and Experience

Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management/Engineering/Business Management.

Certifications
  • Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) a plus.
Experience
  • 5 plus years of purchasing or program management experience working in an automotive production purchasing/GSM environment, with exposure to supplier risk management.
  • Experience working as member of a team.

  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to work with data tools (e.g., Power BI, Snowflake).
  • Ability to translate data into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – position interacts with all levels of BorgWarner/Supplier Management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, eRFQ, web-based intranet systems, MRP systems knowledge a plus.
  • Must be self-motivated/directed.
  • Required to determine most, if not all, of own work assignments; both tactical and strategic.
  • Requires minimal management input to achieve objectives.
