The candidate should have a relevant undergraduate degree and experienced in corporate finance, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in English. Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a similar role.
• Fluency in English at a proficient level.

Responsabilidades

• Direct support to Associates on client-related projects.
• Daily interaction with high-profile clients.
• Screening the debt market for restructuring opportunities.
• Screen debt markets to identify restructuring opportunities and monitor credit developments.
• Generate client presentations, company profiles, and perform data analysis and financial modelling.

Overview

LGG Advisors, with offices in Porto, Lisbon, London and Madrid, provides high value consulting services. Our Finance & Strategy team offers services including M&A Transactions, Debt Advisory, Due Diligence, Capital Raisings, Private Placements and Corporate Strategy. We are hiring a Restructuring Research Analyst to provide direct support to the Associates in the team.

Profile specification

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a similar role, namely as part of a Big4 Consultancy firm, debt restructuring firm or performing credit research or related work in an Investment Bank or Private Equity firm
• Fluency in English at a proficient level. Previous full-time education taught in English or previous full-time employment in a country of official English language are an advantage
• Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject (Finance, Business, Economics or similar)
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint (advanced level)
• Interest in the financial services industry, with strong awareness of credit markets and industry developments

Key responsibilities

• Direct support to Associates on ad hoc client related projects
• Daily interaction and troubleshooting with high profile clients (primary liaison)
• Handling day-to-day correspondence with clients and their representatives
• Screening the debt market regularly to identify potential restructuring opportunities as well as monitoring ongoing credit developments and market trends
• Generating client facing presentations and company profiles as well as performing data analysis and financial modelling
