Job summary

INESC TEC in Porto invites applications for a Research Initiation Grant to join CPES, working on computer vision and robotics. You will contribute to the development of AI models for detecting visual infrastructure defects and to validation and characterization of results.

The role requires an academic background in Electrical Engineering, proven 2D vision and 3D processing experience, and fluency in English and Portuguese. The grant covers tuition fees and health insurance during the program.

Qualifications

• Academic background in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in 2D computer vision systems and 3D information processing.
• Ability to conceptualize problems and develop solutions.
