Job summary

Feedzai is seeking a Risk & AI Business Analyst to bridge client business needs with our technical teams. You will gather requirements, map data and events, design solutions, and drive adoption across major financial institutions and merchants.

You will mentor other analysts, influence product delivery, and stay ahead of fraud trends, regulations, and risk workflows. This role offers remote work with occasional travel and strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• MSc or similar in Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk Management, or related fields.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, fraud/risk, financial services, fintech, or technology consulting.
• Experience leading complex business analysis and solution design initiatives.
• Strong ability to translate complex business problems into clear requirements and solutions.
• Proficiency with data querying tools (e.g., SQL) and analysis in Excel or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience working with technical teams and understanding data flows, integrations, and APIs.
• Strong understanding of fraud detection methodologies, risk analysis, alert management platforms, and investigative workflows.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication, with experience facilitating workshops and delivering client presentations.
• Ability to mentor colleagues, share knowledge, and raise the quality of practices across a team or organization.
• Comfortable challenging the status quo and identifying opportunities to improve products, processes, and ways of working.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering and analysis for complex, high-impact business and risk challenges.
• Document business requirements, fraud scenarios, and investigative workflows through workshops and interviews.
• Translate regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., BSA/AML, PSD2 SCA) into system specifications.
• Own the business analysis workstream for complex implementations and ensure deployment readiness.
• Define cohesive solutions with Solutions Architects and own data mapping and event flow definitions.
• Develop detailed functional specifications and coordinate UAT with customers.
• Support customer training and adoption and guide change requests and production issues prioritization.
• Mentor and share knowledge with other Business Analysts and drive best practices.
