PrimeIT is seeking a Data Scientist for a remote, international project. The role requires strong ML skills, experience with Spark and Hadoop, and proficiency in Bash, Python, and Java or Scala. You will work on resource monitoring and runtime optimization at JVM/OS level, with bonus points for statistics/data visualization and deep learning knowledge.

English fluency is required. The position is remote with a mid/senior level (over 5 years) and a salary package from €1,750 to €3,500 base plus

Qualificações

• Proficient in Machine Learning including training and testing, and avoiding overfit.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop.
• Proficiency in Bash, Python and either Java or Scala.
• Knowledge of resource monitoring and runtime optimization (JVM and OS level).
• Desirable: knowledge of statistics or data visualization.
• Desirable: knowledge of tree-based algorithms (Random Forests, XGBoost, LGBM).
• Desirable: knowledge of Deep Learning algorithms.
• Fluency in English.
