PrimeIT is seeking a Senior Big Data Developer to join our Lisbon-based hybrid team. You will design, build and optimize large-scale data pipelines using Spark, Hadoop, Hive and Kafka, with Python/Scala and SQL expertise.

The role focuses on data processing, warehousing and cloud data platforms within international projects. We offer a hybrid work model in Lisbon, competitive base salary (€1,750–€3,500) plus food allowance and flex benefits, and the opportunity to work with Databricks, Airflow,

• 6+ years of experience in Big Data Engineering / Data Engineering.
• Strong experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive and Kafka.
• Solid knowledge of Python and/or Scala, with strong SQL skills

We are looking for a Senior Big Data Developer with:

• 6+ years of experience in Big Data Engineering / Data Engineering
• Strong experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive and Kafka
• Solid knowledge of Python and/or Scala, with strong SQL skills
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data processing and distributed systems
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of Databricks, Airflow, Docker and Kubernetes is a strong plus
• Experience with data warehousing, data lakes and CI/CD
