AgileEngine in Portugal (Coimbra) is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to a follow-the-sun DevSecOps pod, writing Python scripts to integrate SAST/DAST/SCA into CI/CD pipelines and tune scanners to reduce false positives.

You will deploy automated hardened baselines and provide code-level remediation guidance to development teams, with 3–5 years of software engineering experience and strong Python and CI/CD know-how.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
• Working knowledge of modern CI/CD orchestration tools.
• Experience with vulnerability scoring frameworks and security gates.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Write and maintain scripts to integrate SAST/DAST/SCA into CI/CD pipelines.
• Tune security scanning tools to reduce false positives and improve alert quality.
• Assist in deploying automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns.
• Collaborate with product teams to provide remediation guidance in Java and Python.
