AgileEngine is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute hands‑on to a follow‑the‑sun DevSecOps pod, writing Python scripts to integrate SAST, DAST, and SCA security gates into CI/CD pipelines and tuning scanning tools to reduce false positives. You will deploy automated hardened baselines and provide code‑level remediation to development teams.

The role requires 3–5 years of software engineering experience with strong Python proficiency and CI/CD familiarity, plus upper‑intermediate English.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong Python proficiency for automation and scripting.
• Working knowledge of modern CI/CD orchestration and vulnerability scanning.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision on complex scripting tasks.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Write and maintain scripts to integrate SAST/DAST/SCA into CI/CD pipelines.
• Tune security scanning tools to reduce false positives and improve alerts.
• Assist in deploying automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns.
• Collaborate with product teams to provide code‑level remediation guidance in Java and Python.
