Job summary

Fusion Consulting is seeking an experienced PMO / Project Control Specialist to lead governance, planning, monitoring, and reporting for complex IT transformations. Based in Japan with remote work and travel to client sites, you will collaborate with Project Managers, workstream leads, and business stakeholders to maintain integrated plans and transparent oversight.

You will manage RAID logs, budgets, forecasts, and executive materials while driving process improvements and ensuring alignment

Qualifications

• Proven experience in PMO, Project Control, or Project Coordination.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and governance.
• Hands-on experience maintaining integrated project plans, RAID logs, dependencies, and reporting.
• Experience with project financial management including budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and tools like MS Project, Jira, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day PMO activities, ensuring governance and reporting.
• Develop and monitor integrated project plans, milestones, and schedules.
• Manage RAID logs and escalation tracking across workstreams.
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and executive materials.
• Support financial tracking, budgets, forecasts, and cost variances.
• Coordinate dependencies across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Monitor KPIs, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Facilitate governance meetings and document decisions.
• Identify process improvements for reporting and delivery.
