Job summary

Lever, Inc. in partnership with a client is seeking a .NET Developer based in Portugal for remote work. You will contribute to development, maintenance, and support of reliable software apps using C# and .NET technologies, building web APIs and backend services that power business operations.

You will diagnose production incidents, collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA and DevOps, and contribute to CI/CD practices to ensure smooth, reliable releases in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of .NET and .NET Core, including ASP.NET Core.
• RESTful Web APIs, backend services, and web application architecture.
• Excellent diagnostic skills to investigate complex application issues and deliver effective solutions.
• Experience supporting live applications, resolving incidents, monitoring system behavior, and maintaining service reliability.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, build automation, deployment workflows, and release management.
• Experience using Azure DevOps or comparable platform, with Git or similar version control.
• Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot production and deployment issues, and improve performance.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a remote environment and commitment to secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using C#, .NET, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
• Build and support RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and diagnose root causes.
• Provide production support and monitor application health.
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD, deployments, and release management.
• Manage source control and deployments with Git and Azure DevOps.
• Conduct post-incident analysis and document preventive measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• Follow engineering best practices and maintain technical documentation.
