Hexa is seeking a MuleSoft Developer to drive enterprise integration initiatives in the insurance sector. This fully remote role is based in Portugal and focuses on secure, scalable APIs and integration services that support business operations and system interoperability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software development and enterprise integration with MuleSoft.
• Academic background in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and contribute to complex integration tasks.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving with focus on quality.
• Effective collaboration with tech and business stakeholders in distributed environments.
• Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain enterprise integration services using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Analyze requirements to define effective integration solutions.
• Design and implement APIs and flows connecting cloud and on-prem systems.
• Apply API management, security and performance optimization throughout development.
• Promote reusable components and automation in integration design.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support delivery and testing.
• Maintain documentation for interfaces, configurations and procedures.
• Investigate issues and implement corrective actions for evolving services.
